KINGCON: A hotspot for knowledge-sharing

By Greenlight | 06 Mar 2017

On 29th March, we welcomed 25 guests to our inaugural KINGCON session, held at our King's Cross office. The session was created to unite brands - from start-ups to the well-established - to discuss their business USPs, the problems they solve and to disclose areas they're interested in developing. The idea behind this was to share strengths and build on areas for growth using the talent and know-how in the room.

The concept was borne by Andreas Pouros, COO & Co-Founder at Greenlight, as an initiative to enable businesses to have a private and intimate space to network and seek opportunities for their businesses. An entrepreneur and mentor of start-ups, Andreas is a strong believer in continuous improvement as a driver for differentiation and staying relevant in today's fast-paced market.

Of the session, Andreas notes "one of our guests summed it up perfectly when he said that in the US, businesses network all the time - but in the UK, we hardly ever do. We're trying to change that and if our inaugural session is anything to go by, there is huge appetite for it and the value to everyone unquestionable".

KINGCON led to some very prosperous opportunities and long-term business relationships being forged, making it a very successful first session. If you'd like your business to be considered for any upcoming sessions, don't hesitate to get in touch.
